Although most people will only be familiar with the hit single from this album "Let The Beat Hit Em", this is an excellent album that shows Lisa Lisa maturing and developing a more soulful sound which would later shape her two solo albums. Among the best songs on this album are "Love Will Get Us By" which is an inspiring house music anthem. Another stand-out song is "Where Were You When I Needed You" which is a classic adult contemporary power ballad in the vein of "All Cried Out". All in all, it's a great album and if you like it, you should also consider buying Lisa Lisa's solo albums "LL77" and "Life N Love".
