I've used on the BBQ and the stove top. For all uses it's a good length and comfortable to hold. It's nicely made and thick enough to resist bending and flexing. Smooth surfaces have no nooks and crannies to hide muck so cleanup is easy.Exactly as described! Very impressed with the product for the price! My last spatula purchase on Amazon came apart from the handle, so that is why I got this one. One note, the front edge of the spatula is not beveled and that concerned me, but it didn't affect the performance of the item. Worked well!I bought the slotted spatula and the unslotted spatula. They both seem to working out great for me so far. Very comfortable grip. I haven't checked how hot the handle can get, because so far I never needed to leave it in the heat long enough to get it really hot. Both have been great 1/2 pound hamburger flippers so far.Love this spatula! Very sturdy and easy to clean. You won’t be disappointed. My mom was looking for the right metal turner so I ordered quite a few from Amazon for her to check out. The problem with Amazon is it offers so many products and not every product has a detailed enough description, e.g. length, weight, etc. Since I have done the legwork already, I might as well share the details with other potential buyers. For this turner:Overall handle length: 11.0"Length of shovel: 3.5"Width of shovel (widest part): 3.0"Weight: 4.8 oz (I would describe it as "light" or "does not feel as nice in your hand")Comfort of grip: 5/5This is the cheaper version of the VERTI turner. They are very similar, except the much more expensive VERTI is heavier and it has a wider shovel, and thus giving me a more solid feel. However, this one is also very well made. I purchased both the VERTI and this one.Hope this helps! My mom was looking for the right metal turner so I ordered quite a few from Amazon for her to check out. Love it.This spatula is great! It's stainless steel as advertised; and it's all one piece so the handle won't come off. I use it to chip and stir coconut butter, which turns solid at a certain temperature, so I warm the 8-pound tub a little and distribute it into smaller jars. This is a strong spatula -- just what I wanted.
