It's a pretty simple thing to weigh something, so no elaborate review here. Weighs in grams or ounces, plastic bowl is dishwasher safe. The one downfall of this scale is that the bowl is in the way of getting a direct view of the LCD screen, so it is difficult to read. The screen needs to be rotated more towards 90 degrees vertical or it needs to be back-lit. Had this for about 2 1/2 years now and only had to replace the battery once, and I buy a lot of stuff from Sams Club and use this to portion it out before I vacuum seal it.We like the size and overall appearance of the scale. However, there needs to be some sort of handle or groove to grasp. We keep our scale at the back of the kitchen counter, so when it is time to use it, we have to use both hands to move it forward. If there were something to grasp, one hand could move the scale, and the other could be holding the food item to place on the scale. Also, would it be possible to make the weight screen a bit brighter?Thank you.This is a very nice scale. Works well and the screen is easy to read. Only 4 stars though because it is VERY large. I realize it gives the dimensions and while they are accurate it is deceiving. The bowl is a nice touch but also very large - similar to a serving bowl as opposed to a scale that one would weigh something on. I would still buy it again.I have found that the scale works well enough but am not happy with the solid white plastic bowl. All pictures indicate a clear bowl which certainly would make reading the display much easier. Any way to swap this bowl with a clear one? An update, a clear plastic bowl was shipped to me by the company. I'm very pleased with their prompt response to my problem.Hard to read the weight of the food on the scale, and whether it is reading as oz or gr.it is a bit hard to read the numbersIt is very accurate. At first it seems as if it is hard to read. But, once you realize where all the digits are you can read it fine.The design of the scale makes it very difficult to read the digital output - the bowl extends over the window. Also, the battery died within a week of receiving the scale. The response from the company's customer service was very fast and positive, they sent me a new battery and refunded part of my purchase price.I replaced the scale, though, because I couldn't read the weight window.
