This cart exceeded my expectations. I admit I was skeptical about the price for the cart. There is no MDF in this box. The only plastic in the box is the packaging. This cart is solid wood down to the plugs. You will feel like a woodworker when you finish assembling this.When you order this be advised it is heavy! Fortunately a neighbor helped me carry it upstairs. Don't worry though. If you drop it (which he did) it is well packaged.I put this together by myself. It took about 6 hours and I had to charge my drill midway. I placed the piece with the magnets backwards and only needed to remove 2 torx screws to turn it around.Open the larger box first and locate the instructions. Make a pot of coffee to drink while reading the instructions. Identify and separate the parts. If you have a rechargeable drill make sure it is fully charged and be familiar with torque. I do not suggest using a screwdriver for this since the wood is hard. This was not manufactured by a famous Scandinavian furniture store so put the gorilla glue away!Assemble it in the order given. Take your time. Every part is well marked. There are several types of screws provided and they are for different applications. Do not tighten until all pieces are together.I made one easy modification. After I hung the doors I noticed they were not level. I was able to move both cabinet hinges up about 1/4 inch. I placed the door where it needed to be and found a box to prop it into place. I then placed the hinges and drilled them into place. The first hinge was awkward but became easier once I drilled the first screw. The fix took about 20 minutes and the finished product was worth it.I put the racks on, but decided I don't need them and will remove them. The huge Instant Pot with the lid on easily fits in the bottom and there is still plenty room for other gadgets. The draw is functional and fits seldom used utensils and/or menus. This is a great fit for a small kitchen.First let me say that I ordered the0 Home Styles Create-a-Cart Cherry Two-door Cabinet Kitchen Cart with Cherry Top, Two Wood Panel Doors, One Drawer, Two Towel Bars, Spice Rack, and Adjustable Shelf.I don't usually leave a review, but because of the bad reviews that I read, I wanted to say this was a fantastic purchase!I put off ordering anything because everything I looked at had some bad reviews and I didn't want to end up with a broken or scratched or misaligned cabinet. When this one ended up in my cart two or three times, I showed them all to my husband and he agreed that this one looked the best.The boxes were sturdy and well packaged and came two days ahead of schedule. The top comes in a separate box, I'm assuming because you can choose which top you want. We unpacked the boxes and all the parts were there, with nothing broken or scratched.We put it together yesterday. This is not the first piece of furniture my husband and I have put together. However, this was, by far, the easiest piece we have put together. It took a couple hours, but I'm sure that was because we had to sit and rest our backs more than a couple times.The instructions are clear and precise. The pictures are very helpful. Every piece is labeled, with the hardware labeled in separate bags. This was definitely a plus. We knew exactly which bolts and screws to use for each step. All of the pre-drilled holes lined up well enough for us to get the pieces together perfectly.The cabinet seems very solid and a nice size. The shelf is adjustable and will hold whatever I might want to put on it. The wood plugs are a nice touch to finish the look.We would definitely recommend, and would buy again if we needed another one.Please excuse the styrofoam on the floor. I haven't swept it all up yet. And I'm sure I'll be finding it for days. LOL! Great purchase, don't be afraid to try it.look good and work goodThis was very easy to assemble! Every item was labeled in it's own package. Every manufacture should use this company as a model for how to create instructions and label items. It's great to know the size of the screws, but it's even better to know where they go just by reading the label. Screws for top, screws for casters, etc... Very sturdy and looks fantastic with the Cherry wood top. A perfect breakfast bar!Expensive for the quality; has done the job though
