Meet Weruva, Makers of Cats in the Kitchen: Weruva was founded over ten years ago by David & Stacie Forman and is still proud be family owned and operated. WeRuVa was inspired by and named after the founders three rescued cats; Webster, Rudi and Vanessa. With the search for The Best Cat Food Under the Sun never seeming to end, David & Stacie thought, Lets give it a shot ourselves and gathered the best ingredients from around the world, formulated some fantastic recipes and created Weruva. Naturally, when they were lucky enough to have their rescued dog Baron enter the family, they decided to expand our products to include dog food. Our desire for more innovative, healthy pet products could not be stopped and we continued to dream up and produce some of the best products for pets and their people. Today, we have expanded our product offerings to include four cat wet food brands, two dog wet food brands, dry dog food, treats, pumpkin supplements and even litter! Quality Control, Safety & Ingredients: Weruva always strives to be more than just a pet food company. We are obsessive over Safety and Quality Control and only produce our products in BRC/USDA Approved Facilities; arguably the highest standards for human-food production. We also source responsible and sustainable raw materials. You will be happy to know Weruva uses Cage-Free Chickens, Grass-Fed Beef & Lamb, and Wild-Caught Fish. Did we mention everything is GMO-Free? My "Little Boy" is accustomed to eating meat from our plates which results in his walking away from the canned foods we buy him. Not fair to the product - he gets bored with the same old, same old. Both my cats have grown up with Weruva. The food looks like you can eat it compared to other cheaper cat foods that are ground and smelly. They like certain flavors more than others but that’s ok. This variety pack works great and offers different flavors for each one.I HAVE BEEN USING THIS BRAND OF DOG AND CAT FOOD FOR A WHILE. SOMETIMES YOU GET A MILDLY DENTED CAN. THIS LAST ORDER HAD 10 OUT OF 24 CANS DENTED. 4 SEVERELY DENTED AND 6 LESSER SO. I'M RETURNING THIS ORDER ALONG WITH THE DOG FOOD, 10 OUT OF 12 DENTED, AND MAY HAVE TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER BRAND.This is my go to cat food. I like that it has real ingredients and seems high quality. It’s also a good price. I landed on this one originally for my kitty who had struggling kidneys, but he’s since passed on and I still purchase it for my other. She’s a senior kitty and with this and a few supplements I add to her food, the vet said her health is stellar. I’d happily keep feeding her good quality food if it helps her live a long and healthy life! Oh yeah, just a random extra suggestion I have is to add a little bit of high quality dry kibble to the mix. Apparently, only consuming wet food (even though it’s great for cats because of the moisture content), creates more plaque on their teeth. Found this out at her last vet visit, so I’ve been adding a little bit kibble ever since and that seems to help.Fair price, was alittle ruffled up.the package was torn and 4 cans were dented. But none busted open. Will buy agian if the need arisesRescued a cat from a shelter. They suggested this food since my Ted needed to be on a diet. HeWeighs in at 14 lbs. I've heard from many 2 vets this food has quality ingredients.https://amzn.to/3p7lSvcThe cat loves it and it's freshQuality cat food grain free.I love the quality and gravy. I have a suggestion for Wereva re the fowl. Set your cutter against the grain as many kitties don't care for the long strings. I have started taking scissors to it before serving, and they eat more of the meat.My cats love this flavour, but getting it on Amazon is a rip-off. For $5 more I can get the cans twice the volume from my local Pet Valu. Shame on me for not reading the description, but the cans shown on this listing have clearly been photoshopped to look larger than they actually are.My cats love the chicken and chicken+turkey blends of weruva, and our local pet store has a hard time ordering enough stock. I thought I got a good deal, but these are little half-sized cans, for just below the price I pay for the normal 6 ounce cans. I didn't even know they MADE mini cans.It is my fault for not checking what is the ounce size on the cans ( who still uses imperial measurements like ounces!?) But the photo of the cans on this listing CLEARLY states it's a 6 ounce size, and the photo is the same shape and size as the regular cans I buy, so the image is very misleading. Not impressed. My cat loves this food and it is an excellent brand. BUT the prices on Amazon vary wildly from $26 for 12 cans one week (not cheap by any means!!! but acceptable for the quality) to $39 for the same thing the following week. So I have found a more stable supplier. This pack of 12 is actually more expensive than if you buy it at the pet store, plus at the pet store (for us, it's a Pet Valu), you can mix and match more combos. The quality of the food is really good though, my cats love the various flavors and they are really picky eaters but I really recommend buying the packs in the store because this is a rip-off.
