This is so wonderful for making any sort of canned beef cuts. I use it in stock and bone broth too. And my beef stew would not be beef stew without Kitchen Bouquet. Even if I'm not canning there is a wonderful repertoire of dinner dishes that adding this browning sauce to enhances its looks and flavor. A good meal is first about an appetizing smell, and then the eye appeal and then the flavor. Grey goo on a plate just doesn't cut it in my kitchen. If you are canning beef and using Ball's Blue Book for your recipe of Beef in Wine, try adding a little bit extra Kitchen Bouquet. And while many bone broth recipes don't call for Kitchen Bouquet it makes the bone broth very savory. My son loves just having a hot cup of savory bone broth the same as one would have a hot cup of consume or a cup of bouillion. He never did that until I started adding the kitchen bouquet to the recipe.
